The 51st Annual General Meeting (AGM) Dinner 2023 was a resounding success, attracting the presence of esteemed Key Members and essential Stakeholders. Our Assistant Executive Officer, Mrs. Aziza Mwanthi on 23rd September 2022 attended the World Maritime Day Celebration.

In recognition of KSAA celebrating 51 Years Anniversary on 28th July 2022, Messrs. Gulf Badr Group (Kenya) Ltd honored the Association with bouquet of flowers and some goodies which is much appreciated by the KSAA Secretariat.

The Chairman of KSAA, Silvester M. Kututa BA(Econ),MSc(Shipping), FICS Kututa paid a courtesy call to the KSAA secretariat offices on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.

On Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, KSAA Executive Committee NIROSHAN JAYASINGHE, Silvester M. Kututa BA(Econ),MSc(Shipping), FICS, Nirjhar Sankar Bhaduri, Juma Tellah, Capt. Cav. Giuseppe Fedele had an interactive session at ISCOS Secretariat offices in Nyali. The forum discussed cross cutting issues related to maritime trade both regionally and internationally. Discussions also dwelt on global freight rates, challenges encountered by the service providers along the logistic chain both locally and regionally. The interaction was productive that it was resolved to arrange periodical sessions to deliberate both current and emerging concerns in the maritime industry. It was also resolved that sensitization sessions targeting cargo interests among other interest groups within the region to mitigate some of the challenges encountered.

On 05th July 2022, KSAA Chairman Silvester M. Kututa BA(Econ),MSc(Shipping), FICS Kututa, visited the Archbishop Martin Kivuva and also the Stella Maris offices in Mombasa, held meeting with the Stella Maris Director Margaret Masibo . Stella Maris supports the work and welfare of seafarers around the world as part of the Catholic Church outreach ministry to the seafarers.

On 05th July 2022, KSAA CEO Mr. Juma Tellah and KSAA Chairman, Mr. Silvester M. Kututa BA(Econ),MSc(Shipping), FICS Kututa, visiting the Missions to Seafarers Club Mombasa Chaplain, Rev. Moses Muli. Ahead of 2022 Sea Sunday to be held on Sunday 10th July 2022 at the Missions to Seafarers chapel, Mombasa.

Study Visit by the Gambia Maritime Administration Team on 15th February 2022 at the Mission To Seamen to discuss the key role played by the Shipping Lines and Ship Agents.

Our chairman, Silvester Kututa, was the guest of honor at the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony held at the Pride Inn Mombasa on Thursday the 16th Dec. congratulations to this years winners!
