See MoreOn Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, KSAA Executive Committee NIROSHAN JAYASINGHE, Silvester M. Kututa BA(Econ),MSc(Shipping), FICS, Nirjhar Sankar Bhaduri, Juma Tellah, Capt. Cav. Giuseppe Fedele had an interactive session at ISCOS Secretariat offices in Nyali. The forum discussed cross cutting issues related to maritime trade both regionally and internationally. Discussions also dwelt on global freight rates, challenges encountered by the service providers along the logistic chain both locally and regionally. The interaction was productive that it was resolved to arrange periodical sessions to deliberate both current and emerging concerns in the maritime industry. It was also resolved that sensitization sessions targeting cargo interests among other interest groups within the region to mitigate some of the challenges encountered.
